Goodbiz.ie is the brainchild of Richard O'Brien of K.J. O'Brien & Co., Registered Auditors & Accountants. With the current economic downturn, more and more businesses are looking to interact with well established, solvent and tax compliant customers and suppliers. Goodbiz.ie has been created to address these issues and to provide a level of guarantee that members are dealing with like minded individuals intent on providing high quality services. The site is designed for business owners looking to trade and get paid for the services they provide. Goodbiz.ie provides an online website directory listing companies, sole traders and partnerships that have supplied tax clearance certificates and have been certified as solvent by their accountants. Members are listed categorically and can be located very simply in our online database.

Goodbiz also provides a debt collection service and we will publish, in our Badbiz database, the names and details of any businesses that renege on their payments to our members, following attempts to collect the debt through normal means. Members are encouraged not to enlist the services of these businesses.

We have been promoting our service to businesses at a cost that is easily affordable and will continue to do so. We are presently bringing hundreds of categories, and indeed businesses, to the site

Our Mission

We aim to promote good business practice among our members. By maintaining a database of Businesses that are tax compliant and solvent we endeavour to bring together organisations that are like minded in their approach to managing their affairs so they can trade with each other in the knowledge that they will get paid for the products and services they provide. It is a condition of membership that if you do business with fellow members you must abide by their credit terms.
